For sure, there is a lot of good news from our club: After years we have again a complete, five-member board, we are pleased that the general meeting has elected for the first time a woman in the executive committee, there are new executive board consultants, new working groups, new sports, new courses, more trainers than ever before and the numbers of members are rising again.
But the pandemic still has us in its grip and makes it difficult for us to live together in a cheerful and relaxed way in the FVV. But not only our club life suffers from Corona, no it has an impact on our whole life. Many of us work in professions that suffer greatly from the situation, others are unexpectedly confronted with illness, pain and loss.
But if there is one thing we have learned from the pandemic, it is how important functioning communities, reliable friends and solidarity are! Only together we are strong, feel good and can overcome difficulties! And for many people, the FVV is just that: a lively and lovable community in which you can quickly find connections and new friends, and at the same time a strong voice that is audibly committed to the concerns of the LGBT* community.
And so we brave all challenges and are happy about the many projects that we have accomplished together in the last months! Also check out the results and photos of the XMAS Tournament 2021.
