New courses: Standard/Latin Advanced Course II and Rumba Workshop

Rumba is a fiery couple dance of Cuban origin that has been a ballroom dance in many industrialized countries since the last third of the 20th century. Our Rumba workshop lasts four evenings and starts on April 16. Prerequisites for participation in the course are a firm grasp of the basic Rumba step and the most important basic figures such as the promenade, forearm or square turn. FVV members pay 35 EUR, non-members 70 EUR. The advanced course II Standard/Latin is also new: anyone who is already confident in the basic steps and figures in Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, Jive, Foxtrot, Discofox, Tango and Slow Waltz can take part. The course lasts ten evenings and starts on April 15. FVV members pay 80 EUR, non-members 160 EUR. More information can be found here and registration is available from Stefan tanzen@fvv.org.
