For the first time, an FVV general meeting had to be held purely virtually. The most important insight of this afternoon: If the pandemic is on the wane, we got off lightly. We have lost members and thus membership fees, but much less than feared and at the same time many hall and trainer costs have not been charged.
One of the most important decisions of the meeting was the postponement of the vote on the amendment of the statutes – too obviously the virtual format was not suitable for the discussion of such a complex issue. Finally, in the election of the board, Ina Manthey (members), Jens Gronemann (finances), Matthias Krautinger (PR), Georg Novak (events) and Sascha Spezzano (sports) were elected.
The new board members would like to thank the previous board members very, very much and in the name of the whole association for the immense work, the great commitment and the uncounted hours of voluntary engagement!
