AGM 2025: New Board & Vote for EuroGames

On 12 June 2025, our annual general meeting took place at Saalbau Bornheim. The Rose-Schlösinger Hall was well filled: many dedicated members came together to reflect on the past year, make plans for the future, and elect a new board. The meeting opened with a look back at the club’s 40th anniversary and the relocation of our office to Bockenheim. Special recognition was given to the strong collaboration with the City of Frankfurt and the club’s growing social and political network.

A key topic was the motion to continue supporting Frankfurt’s bid to host the EuroGames 2028. The motion was passed with broad approval, marking a clear commitment by FVV to queer sports on a European level.

With the exception of Jens Gronemann, who did not run for re-election, all current board members were confirmed: Nils Wallner (Membership), Sascha Spezzano-Ihrig (Sports), Georg Novak (Events), and Matthias Krautinger (Communications). Jan Frölich will take over the Finance portfolio.

FVV looks to the future with optimism, while remaining aware of the challenges ahead. The meeting concluded with heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers whose dedication keeps the club going.
