Badminton team wins the FVV dodgeball tournament

To celebrate the club’s anniversary, there was of course to be a big tournament in which our departments could compete against each other. Sascha, who is responsible for sport on the FVV board, justified the choice of dodgeball for the tournament with the anniversary, because “it’s the game of the 80s, our founding period, and we don’t have this sport in the club – so nobody had an advantage”.

Running, trampoline/swimming, dancing, the squash busters, volleyball, badminton, soccer and tennis had all signed up. Badminton made it through to the final, where it beat soccer. First place was awarded a group trip to the new Frankfurt climbing garden. The runners-up received free tickets for the FVV boat party on August 29. Third place was shared by the “Squashbusters” and the participants from the trampoline and swimming departments. The Squashbusters had a truly spectacular presentation. They were also rewarded with a magnum bottle of sparkling wine for the best outfit.

There was even a live vocal performance at the end! If you missed dodgeball at the FVV, you missed something. FVV at 40 – at the best age.
