We were delighted to support this initiative, especially as many of our members live in our neighbouring city. Under the motto “Queer OF course!”, around 2,000 people took to the streets for diversity, acceptance and equal rights. At a time when queer people face renewed hostility and hard-won rights are being called into question, visibility and solidarity are especially important.
Our information stand was buzzing with activity: lots of visitors stopped by to find out about FVV and our sports activities and enjoy a chat. With a march through the city centre and a programme of events in Büsingpark, Offenbach’s first Pride was a great success. We’re already looking forward to next year!
