The charity run has become an indispensable sporting and social event in our city. Almost 5,000 runners took part. Above all, however, the run provides necessary financial support for the social work of AIDS-Hilfe Frankfurt. Of course, we support the event and participate with our own running group: For FVV-members in the club outfit, the starting fee will be paid by the club! You will receive the link for the internal group registration via your sport divsion, but you will also find it in the next member newsletter at the end of the month. Deadline for registration is September 3rd. Unfortunately, there will be no stalls this year, so the community have to realize that the much-loved FVV-Opernplatzcafé will not take place.
By the way, the donations will go directly to important AHF projects: Rainbow Refugee Support helps refugees who can no longer live in their home country because of their gender or sexual identity. The LGBT* refugee shelter is a safe house for gay, young men, but also transwomen and genderfluid people have found a safe accommodation there.
