Intensive Stretching
When?
Wednesday 8:30 – 10:00 p.m. No training is held on holidays and during school vacations.
Where?
Heinrich-von-Stefan-Schule, Oppenheimer Landstraße 15. Subway stop "Schweizer Platz," use "Schweizer Apotheke" exit.
Must I attend training regularly?
No, but of course, regular attendance is always good for you.
Who may attend?
This group is geared to the motivated beginner, with more advanced exercises being integrated into the training sessions continuously. This training is not geared to those with Yoga experience—you'd be bored. But this training is right for you if you want to do something for your agility, learn to know your own body better and find that needed balance in your daily life.
What must I bring?
Comfortable workout clothes (not too tight), and long (sweat) pants are recommended. No shoes are worn during training. Both a mat and a blanket are also recommended.
Training format
The exercises (with their basis in Yoga theory) promote agility and flexibility of your joints, stretch your muscles and promote proper posture. The coordination of controlled and proper breathing and movement helps you to get to know your own body both physically and spiritually. You will learn to simply "breathe away" any stress and physical resistance you might have.
Does it cost me any more than the basic FVV membership fee?
No.
Does the group also participate in tournaments and workshops?
FVV XMAS Tournament and fitness tournaments both in and outside of Germany.
