Report and results – 23rd XMAS Tournament Frankfurt 2011

Pascal form Brussels wrote: „It was my first experience of Frankfurt's tournament, and I really had a great time. I enjoyed the badminton venue, the games, the dinner, the party and the brunch - I liked everything. ;-) I had a lot of fun and laughter with all the friends and made some new ones. A very handsome weekend and I definitely will try to come back next time. Thanks a lot for the organisation!”.

badminton xmas11 1 The feedback of our participants was positive all the time. And apart form the sports event, people liked and mentioned the registration at Pulse, the party and the brunch. If you count men and women for badminton, we had almost 250 players! To our knowledge the XMAS Badminton tournament is the biggest one-day tournament in europe. What a great success! Most of the disciplines have been booked out within a week. The hall in Goldstein has been new this year. It contains 16 courts, and many other tournament organizers envy us about that great hall, as well as the Badminton Come Together at Spice Kitchen with almost 100 participants. Altogether, it was a boisterous tournament, we did sport, ate, danced, laughed, met old friends and made new ones. Many thanks to our about 20 badminton volunteers, hosts and other helpers.
