Bowling

When?

Fridays in the even-numbered weeks.

8:00 p.m. - ?.  On legal holidays, we may or may not play—we announce this in advance.  In case of doubt, call the Contact listed below.

Where?

Stern Bowling, Mathildenstrasse 1, Frankfurt Oberrad.

Must I attend training regularly?

No.

Who may attend?

Everyone.  There are no special training levels.

What must I bring?

Comfortable clothing.

Training format

Open play, delivery, targeting strikes and spares.  We also play matches to practice for competitions.

Does it cost me any more than the basic FVV membership fee?

FVV members pay €2.70 per game and €1.40 to rent bowling shoes.  At the end of the year, the member is partially reimbursed for a number of games.

Does the group also participate in tournaments and workshops?

Yes, every year we play in several tournaments across Europe and naturally the EuroGames, Outgames and GayGames.  Also, we close out each year with our internal "Pine Cone Tournament."
